Drowned. First edit completed today! Such a great feeling. A surreal feeling. May take some time to process all of this. But my initial thought is that I feel very proud of our work, and the sincerity we all brought to it. My goal in editing the movie (to date) has been to honor that sincerity. Making art is such a strange emotional roller-coaster. Drinking 9 espressos in a day only makes the highs & lows more exaggerated. I am glad we made this movie. So much more to come. I am very excited!

Drowned. Listening to Nas while taking a Topo Chico / espresso break. Lyrics “No matter what / Life is good” resonating deeply. I’m on the final scene now of my first cut. Grateful. Grateful. Very grateful.
